I would strongly stand behind Option A , to retain the green belt. And I would encourage any members to Cheshire council to visit and survey thr people of the Wyre and Ribble Valley boroughs of Lancashire / Preston as to their feelings towards ripping up Green Belt policies. I grew up and subsequently moved away from a similarly semi rural, suburban area. An area that had local identities, pride and a feeling to each town. An area where commuting to the local city was easy & working in the city & living beyond made sense for all. That was destroyed by over development, joining towns along main roads, to form one continuous line of urban sprawl. Years of delays, years of roadworks, loss of green space, loss of local identity, zero impact on hose prices or rental prices. Just money in house builder's pockets and endless traffic. We moved to Cheshire in search of that life, please don't turn Cheshires small towns and villages into building sites full of new build sprawl. The A51 & A41 are at capacity on any given day. Vicars cross junction is a working persons nightmare. As is any journey out of Cheshire towards Warrington, Cheshire is sought after because it offers a way of life, long lost elsewhere. Please don't turn it into another pile of urban wreck.

Please put on record my preference for option C of the planning proposals. Imposing 10000 new homes on Winsford, without any commensurate investment in infrastructure such as doctors, dentists and schools will have a disastrous impact on the community. Option C, with its reference to transport infrastructure, is the best for all.

Re the expansion plans in the whole Northwich area and question SS 11 I strongly prefer option A which is to preserve our already dwindling green belt. As well as the infrastructure around Northwich, Winnington, Barnton & Anderton unable to take anymore road traffic, this would also kill off one of the areas local visitor hot spots, Anderton Boat Lift, which draws in visitors across the country due to the the green belt surrounding the reserve. With plenty of brown sites in the area we should be protecting & celebrating the few green belts we have left. Please let us keep our areas healthy & protected for future generations.

Greenbelt has been established to protect our country from urban sprawl. We believe that, wherever possible, building on it should be avoided. We need green spaces. If sustainable transport is high on the agenda, then Option C which emphasises growth around railway stations would appear to be the best choice, but only if the transport system is improved. Many local residents work in Liverpool, Manchester and further afield and services must be improved if they are to be encouraged to leave their cars at home.

Please stop building new homes and damaging the infrastructure of where we live. Enough is enough. The traffic is awful, the drains are overflowing. Focus on allowing us to improve the homes we have and stop the delays in the current planning permissions which are no doubt taken up by all these new home applications
