I wish to object to the potential building of new properties adjacent to Delamere Park. I therefore opt for option A - Retain the Greenbelt. This is for the reasons of retaining the exclusive nature of the village and it's way of life, preventing excessive increases in traffic and unmanageable pressure on resources such as GP services. There has already been considerable development in the area.

I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed large-scale development on Green Belt land in and around Neston and Parkgate. It has been suggested that a housing shortage of 180 homes are required in this area so I am completely against the enormous proposal.

We reside in the Cuddington and Sandiway area. We recognise that you have provided three options on which to comment. A,B,C. Our understanding is that 1914 houses are required per annum and the purpose of the consultation is to identify where these houses should be located. On this basis we wish to object to all three options. Cuddington & Sandiway does not have the infrastructure, it does not have long term sustainability for development and would lead to long term loss of productive farmland classified as best and most versatile (BMV). Food security should remain a national priority.
None of these

I am writing to you to have my say as a local resident in the Northwich area. Regarding the proposal for 5000 new houses all around northwich and surrounding area. Including 1700 north of Barnton. I am not in favour of this happening. Specifically I am very much in favour of the option A for question SS11 (retain the green belt). Currently, I have multiple road works taking place all on close by roads - this as you can imagine has caused a large amount of traffic all throughout the day, especially, during popular commute times. (I received no warnings prior to the works taking place). And I can only imagine the upheaval of having the same works happening, only with another 5000 new residents trying to use the same roads. Baring in mind, that there is also no alternative roads to take. As a resident, this does not work. Not only this, as a existing resident I have already experienced the struggles of for example - registering as a patient at a local doctors clinic and obtaining a appointment, not to mention, I have still not been able to register at any local dental practices as a patient in this area. As the town and surrounding area does not have the capacity to obtain the current residents, not to mention the new housing proposal residents. I feel as a existing resident, we do not need new housing, but more amenities throughout the Northwich area, to accommodate the already over population. The town centre still has plenty of empty shopping spaces. If you do however, need more options for basic amenities for example, you will not find them locally, you must travel to Winsford or Crewe or even further a field to Chester or Manchester. Futhermore, the local roads themselves are in disrepair, many with deep and undetectable pot holes throughout. Having to add even more daily commuters would only continue to cause more damage. As they seem to resurface consistently with the day to day traffic we have already. To add to this, the main train commute is already degraded and lacks the ability to run regularly, not forgetting the extortionate prices if this would be your only means of transportation. So as a existing resident, I must admit I am very much in favour of the option A for question SS11 (retain the green belt). This I believe is the only option to be taken.

I am writing in response to the planning consultation presentation. (Local plan issues and options) In relation to question SS11, i vote for option B, the current local plan should be followed, Kelsall parish council already had a local plan with areas proposed for housing and this should be followed. Also please be aware, there is a Facebook campaign taking place, encouraging people to vote for ‘Option A’ without having reviewed the presentation, I have attached a copy of this Facebook campaign. I feel that is extremely unfair and not giving a true reflection of opinion.
Option B - Follow current Local Plan level and distribution of development

In answer to Question SS 11 - I have chosen Option A retain the green belt. We are suffering a mental health crisis at the moment throughout the country. My wife is a mental health councillor and sees first hand how much the green space and areas help people who are suffering. I believe building in these areas will add to the problems with depression and many things associated with poor mental health. We should be utilising brown field sites and regeneration of areas of housing that has been left unoccupied as a priority.

Anything built across the river in the Barnton, Anderton and Comberbach area can simply not happen. The infrastructure simply will not cope. It barely manages now. In Anderton / Comberbach the greenbelt is a huge draw for people visiting the area, with Marbury park and other beautiful countryside for people to enjoy. Therefore I favour option A for question SS11 (retain the green belt).

Tarporley Parish Council does not support Option A. The Parish Council supports an approach which combines Options B & C. A key criterion of the Local Plan must be that the level of growth is able to be absorbed by a community whilst retaining its current character. Option A, to retain all the current Green Belt will prevent sustainable growth in villages and areas in the green belt while increasing pressure on green field sites in the open countryside. It is important however that the development in these areas does not erode the gaps between large settlements that the green belt was introduced to protect. Option B, to continue existing policies will result in the over development of the key service centres including Tarporley. Option C – to consider development along sustainable transport routes will take the pressure off key service centres and will also result in development which has access to good public transport and does not rely on narrow county lanes to reach the wider road network.
