Question SS 2

Received: 29/08/2025

Respondent: Lambert Smith Hampton

Representation Summary:

No, the UK has an acute housing crisis, and there is an immediate need for new homes for the Borough’s community’s in the next 5 years, there has also been a underperformance (medium term) of housing delivery in CW&C and therefore encouraging a lower housing delivery in the first part of the plan is only going to further reduce access to new homes to communities and stifle supply, which will have a negative impact on the local economy and well being of specific groups who are looking for a new home to invest in.
